As with pretty much every single screen protector, installation is key. If you are at all worried about installation, some electronics stores offer installation for a fee. Personally, I trust myself more than a "technician" at one of those stores, but to each his own. My only advice for installation is to use the entire bottle of liquid. Anyone used to the old, "dry" style of screen protectors will think this is weird, but it really does work quite well. Having a layer of liquid between the screen and protector while installing it lets you move the screen protector around to get it positioned properly and helps keep out air bubbles. Then, you can use the included squeegee to press out any air bubbles fairly easily. Just make sure the device is powered off, because it's going to get fairly damp.I deducted the one star, because they really should have included a larger bottle of spray. My... I have used it on all of my phones and devices since I discovered it. A lot of people are saying it is crap, but really, a lot of that is user error while applying the protector. Well there is solution. The instructions mention wetting your fingers to prevent finger prints, what they really mean is soak your hands until there is no possibility of any skin oils left on your hands. Not only that but the "Sticky side" is so sticky you can't get it off the backing without another pair of hands, which I found out the hard way by putting creases in the film before I was even able to line it up properly with the screen.Then I gave up and considered it a lesson. |
