I really like this case. LOVE the color. Faux leather looks/feels great. Magnetic closer is nice. Folds back conveniently when I'm reading and stand option is handy. Most everything is accessible while in case. It would be perfect except it covers the on board mic and the SD card slot. From what I've seen, all cases including the one Acer ships with the A500 have this same problem. Going to just punch a hole for the mic and call it good.

We purchased the Green and Purple cases and they hold well and the Acer A500 fits secure inside. The magnetic closure is a plus. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the microphone doesn't have a hole; however I have used it and Google picks up on my voice without a problem. I have yet to try it with skype.

At first I thought the holes in the camera were not suitable for the product, but then I realized I could just flip the tablet and it is perfect. Thank goodness for the ability to flip screens on the tablet then lock. I will not need to cut holes out after all. This product is beautiful, though more of a deep maroon than vivid purple, but I like this color better anyway. It is very sturdy and holds the tablet in place very securely. I love this product and recommend it to anyone. As long as you are not dead set on which side of your tablet is up (as I was) then this is right for you.

I am typing this review with this keyboard, thus needless to say it works. The problem is, it does not fit the Iconia A500. The tabs are too far apart to hold the tablet in place.

Overall I have to say that this product is probably not the best choice. The side tab's that are supposed to hold it in are about an inch too far apart, which keeps it from properly holding the device. Also the magnetic strip that holds the case closed is not strong enough to prevent the device from slipping out either.
I am fairly certain the material itself is NOT leather, and it's design feels cheap.
The keyboard itself works well, it is designed for a windows system based on the key layout, however it works well nonetheless.
Overall my opinion is look elsewhere. I will use it because I keep my case inside of a neoprene case, this way it is protected fairly well, and I can just slip the tablet out when I want to use it normally, or slip the entire keyboard case out if I need to do intense typing.

This case did not fit my Acer Iconia A500 at all! I almost dropped my tablet! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Misleading, and a scam. Filed a complaint with Amazon on this seller. Beware!
